Employee introductions

The rewarding part of this job: the sense of accomplishment I get from overcoming the challenges we face in the development process as a team. Development Division ★ 5th year with the company

I am involved in the development of aqueous resin dispersions used in water-based inkjet (IJ) inks. In response to the global trend toward the SDGs, stricter environmental regulations and growing consumer environmental awareness are driving a shift from traditional solvent-based products to water-based alternatives in the inkjet printer industry. To meet this demand, I am developing water-based resin dispersions that emit fewer volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and are easier to handle. Under the guidance of my direct senior colleague, who serves as team leader, we hold daily discussions and consider patents, safety, cost-effectiveness, and other factors to develop high-value-added products. The exciting part of this job is that while we face numerous technical challenges during the development process, overcoming each one gives us a sense of accomplishment in the end. Furthermore, I find it a rare experience to work with people from different fields, sharing their opinions and working together as a team to achieve a common goal.

This is my job: "Stable product supply" and "improving the efficiency of the manufacturing process." Production Technology Division ★3rd year with the company

My responsibilities are divided into two main areas. The first is ensuring a stable supply of products, and I work daily to avoid risks associated with manufacturing our own products. The paradigms surrounding chemical products, including legal regulations and social issues, are constantly changing. I believe that establishing a manufacturing system that can adapt to these changes will ultimately contribute to society as a whole through the supply chain, and I find this work rewarding. The second is improving the efficiency of the manufacturing process. I am working on a newly established theme with the goal of acquiring know-how for further improving production efficiency and quality. I repeatedly identify factors affecting production efficiency, formulate hypotheses, evaluate, analyze, and more. As I constantly explore evaluation methods, my expertise in products, raw materials, and equipment deepens, and I feel a sense of growth in my work. While production engineering involves a large part of manufacturing, there is a lot to learn, making it a daily challenge. Drawing on my extensive experience, I strive to become a person that others can rely on!

The rewarding part of this job: I work on all of the company's products, with a wide range of technical knowledge and a multifaceted perspective. Quality Assurance Division ★ 4th year with the company

The Quality Assurance Division is divided into three division. The first is the Environmental Safety Department, which handles chemical substance management, environmental activities such as ISO 14001, and quality-related contract-related work. The second is the Quality Control Department, which handles quality inspections, trend management, and shipping approvals. The third is the Quality Assurance Department, which handles a wide range of tasks, including quality improvement activities using the ISO 9001 system, supplier audits, and in-house quality training. I belong to the third division. The Quality Assurance Department's responsibilities include responding to quality issues that arise both inside and outside the company and preventing them before they occur. When a quality issue occurs, the Quality Assurance Department acts as a control tower, working with relevant departments to identify the cause and implement corrective measures. I have come to realize the difficulty of accurately identifying the issue, identifying the cause, and developing effective countermeasures, as well as the importance of external work, such as collaborating with relevant departments and explaining the situation to customers. The Quality Assurance Department is involved in all of our products and is a department that gathers a wide range of information. I find my work rewarding, thanks to my broad technical knowledge and multifaceted perspective.

This is my job. I act as a bridge between our clients and our company. Sales Division. 3rd year with the company.

As a sales and planning professional, I'm involved in new product planning, sales, and order processing for industrial inkjet inks. First, during the planning stage, I research market trends and needs at exhibitions and specialized seminars. This allows me to broaden my perspective by being exposed to the latest information in related fields. Next, for products in the development stage, I build and maintain relationships with customers and act as a bridge between them and our company. Finally, during order processing, I maintain close contact with relevant departments within the company to ensure on-time shipments. Communication is particularly important in these tasks. For example, when sharing customer requests with the development division 's output, I need to understand the context and communicate it clearly. While this requires both comprehension and the ability to explain, it's challenging, but when things go smoothly, I feel a sense of accomplishment and personal growth. Being involved in the entire product lifecycle and working with many internal and external stakeholders to support the company's management is a unique and appealing aspect of a sales and planning position.

*The year or position at the time of the interview is listed.
