Leveraging its proprietary color charts and color correction technologies, DNP delivers consistent and reliable color reproduction across a wide range of applications, including medical imaging and digital pathology.

DNP color charts and tools

DNP offers color charts developed with its advanced printing technologies. These charts support highly accurate color correction and evaluation across a wide range of applications, including medical imaging and general imaging.

DNP color chart slides

Designed to match the dimensions of a standard microscope slide, this color chart supports use with transmitted-light microscopes and Whole Slide Imaging (WSI) scanners.

For applications using WSI scanners, models with focus markers are also available. Choose the model that best suits your needs.

Pathology color chart

Designed specifically for pathology applications, this color chart reproduces pathology stain colors with high spectral accuracy.

The slide dimensions conform to ISO 8037-1:1986.

Overall dimensions of the DNP Color Chart Slides: Length, 75-76 mm; Width, 25-26 mm; Thickness, 1.17-1.27 mm.

Note: To maintain optimal color accuracy, we recommend scanning the color chart and creating an ICC profile before each day of use.

ICC profile generation software

This software generates ICC profiles used for color correction based on measurements from a color chart.

Color Correction Software Interface. The software analyzes color data from a color chart image to generate an ICC profile.

Key features and workflow

  • Install the software and reference data for the target color chart on a PC.
  • Import a DNP color chart slides image into the software.
  • Compare the captured color chart image with the reference data to generate an ICC profile that matches the captured colors to the reference values.
  • Quantitatively evaluate color accuracy before and after correction using color difference metrics, with results provided in a report.
  • Supports DNP color chart slides and DNP reflective color charts.

Notes

  • This software generates ICC profiles and does not provide color conversion capabilities.
  • Color conversion requires software that supports ICC profiles.
  • We plan to make this software available outside Japan in a future release.
