EB In-mold Decoration Film

In-mold decoration film utilized DNP’s core technology, “EB technology”.

EB technology* gives DNP freedom to design and improve resin and/or a coating layer. DNP holds more than 1,000 patents globally.
EB in-mold decoration film has a self-repairing top coat, so it can keep the beautiful appearance for a long time even with high-gloss piano black color which normally shows every tiny scratch.

• EB stands for Electron Beam, and it can form a strong top coat over the design and has excellent scratch resistance, chemical resistance and weatherability while having good formability.

DNP also optimizes the peeling strength between base film and top coat to avoid burr and flaking, which contributes to reducing the defect rate at production.

EB in-mold decoration film does not require UV cure after the injection process, so you do not need to install a UV cure system and this leads to cost reduction. Since EB in-mold decoration film has already been cured, you do not need to worry about a quality issue caused by poorly cured parts.
DNP has a vast variety of designs with EB in-mold decoration film, not only in high-gloss piano black but also in patterns ranging from woodgrain to technical patterns, and even for textured parts with in-mold decoration.
