Ars Electronica Festival 2025

The Ars Electronica Festival is a global media art event that began in 1979 as a festival of electronic music. As a platform connecting art, technology, and society, it attracts participants from around the world every year, who come to participate in exhibitions, conferences, and performances. In 2024, 498 programs were held, attracting approximately 110,000 visitors. This year, the festival will take place in Linz from September 3rd to 7th under the theme “PANIC – yes/no.”

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) is collaborating with Ars Electronica Futurelab, the technology and research and development (R&D) division of Ars Electronica, a global creative institution based in Linz, Austria, on a project to create new services under the theme of "the future of XR communication business” by DNP.
This initiative incorporates art thinking to explore business models utilizing extended reality (XR) technology and develop services that provide new value. As a part of this effort, DNP will host a program at the Ars Electronica Festival 2025 where visitors and experts can experience the XR co-creation prototype NeXus Print, which was created with a vision of future society, and to exchange ideas.

①Open Research Program（NeXus Demo）
We will conduct demonstrations utilizing NeXus Print for general visitors and exchange opinions.

Based on the themes set for each session, we will conduct demonstrations utilizing NeXus Print for experts and exchange opinions. We will examine the value that evolving XR technology brings to communication and knowledge sharing that transcends space and time.

③Panel Discussion（NeXus Forum）
