- Question
-
How was the DNP Group established?
- Answer
-
Shueisha, founded in 1876, and Nisshin Printing, founded in 1910, merged in 1935 to form Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. After developing its business primarily in publishing and printing, the company formulated its five-year reconstruction plan in 1951 after the war and promoted expansion printing to expand its business areas through the application and development of printing technology. DNP positions this initiative as the second corporate founding. Currently, DNP not only meets the needs of its client companies but also engages directly with society and consumers, taking the initiative to provide everyday value that supports a better future. Viewing this major transformation as its third corporate founding, DNP is taking on the challenge of achieving it through company-wide efforts.
