President and CEO Yoshinari Kitajima

As we mark our 150th anniversary, we will continue to strive for further growth.

Accelerating Third Corporate Founding to create a "better future" ourselves.

The DNP Group has always grown by anticipating changes in society and people's lives, combining them with advanced printing technologies, and expanding their range of applications. In recent years, the business environment has become increasingly fast-paced and complex due to technological innovation and rising geopolitical risks. In order to grow sustainably in this environment, in addition to providing traditional value that responds to customer needs, we continue to challenge ourselves to create new value by initiating transformation and building a "better future."

As DNP celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2026, we see this milestone as a crucial turning point to further deepen the strengths we have cultivated and create value yet to be seen. Moving forward, we will transform into an "innovation company" that proactively identifies societal and human challenges, transforms various risks into business opportunities, and creates and widely implements value in society. Through this evolution, we will realize Third Corporate Founding

Leveraging its unique strengths, the company aims to achieve record-high profits in its medium-term management plan.

DNP's competitiveness stems from its printing technology and process management capabilities, which have been applied and developed in various fields while solving difficult challenges. By comprehensively promoting technological advancement, in-house production of production equipment, and patent strategies, DNP has built a diversified business structure and widely disseminated the value it creates to society. A "comprehensive printing company" that starts with "printing" and expands its business into diverse fields and continues to grow is extremely rare in the world, and this is a unique strength of DNP.

Furthermore, we are deepening our collaboration with partners such as universities, research institutions, companies, and local governments, and expanding our R&D bases overseas, focusing on acquiring and commercializing new technologies that will support future growth. Looking ahead, we will continue to make proactive growth investments and accelerate the creation of new value.

In our current medium-term management plan for fiscal years 2026-2028, we will leverage the achievements of our performance targets through growth investments and the strengthening of our business foundation through structural reforms. In the final year, we aim to achieve a record-high operating profit of 130 billion yen, and beyond that, we aim to transition to a further stage of growth. We will expand earnings base by accelerating the development of our core focus businesses, which have high earnings and market growth potential, into related areas, while also creating new markets and value for our existing businesses, thereby achieving both business growth and improved capital efficiency.

With the power of "people" as the foundation of everything, we aim to achieve sustainable corporate value enhancement through "TAIWA (dialogue) and cooperation."

At DNP, we believe that the source of value creation is none other than "people." We value the existence of each and every employee and fully support their challenges. Since 2019, we have been particularly focused on "investment in human resources" and "reform of the personnel system" to cultivate a resilient corporate culture. I myself visit our domestic and international offices and, through opportunities such as town hall meetings where we engage in two-way dialogue with employees, I directly convey the company's philosophy and listen to the voices of each and every employee. Through such dialogues, we are promoting a transformation to an organizational culture in which employees proactively take on the challenge of creating value.

Our current medium-term management plan includes investing approximately 35 billion yen in human capital over three years. We will enhance "human creativity" and accelerate value creation by developing risk-reducing and DX talent, and creating an environment where diverse talent can thrive. We will promote non-financial strategies, including strengthening intellectual capital and environmental initiatives, and connect the results to sustainable growth.

In these times of increasing global uncertainty, it is crucial to anticipate multifaceted changes, make swift and appropriate decisions and responses, and become the driving force behind transformation. At DNP, we will leverage our accumulated crisis management expertise and the strengths of our businesses, which stem from printing technology, to transform risks into new business opportunities. We will continue to engage in dialogue with our stakeholders, strive for sustainable corporate value enhancement, and continue to create a "better future."
