Smart Communication Division
The Smart Communication Division operates in several core fields: Imaging Communication, including our world-leading dye-sublimation thermal transfer recording materials; Information Security, such as BPO and authentication security services; the new Content and XR Communication business; and Marketing, Publishing, and Education.
In addition to our high-definition image processing technologies, we will leverage the strengths cultivated through our BPO business—such as the ability to securely handle large volumes of data and to integrate and optimize complex, wide-ranging business processes—to advance service development in collaboration with companies in Japan and overseas.

Life & Healthcare Division
The Life & Healthcare Division’s main businesses are mobility and industrial high-performance materials-related businesses, such as battery pouches for lithium-ion batteries, for which we hold the world's top market share, and decorative materials for the interior and exterior of automobiles; medical and healthcare-related businesses including pharmaceutical manufacturing and medical packaging; packaging-related and living space-related businesses such as aseptic filling systems for PET plastic bottles, for which we hold the leading market share in Japan, and decorative materials for the interior and exterior of homes; and the beverage business.
We will continue to provide essential value in the areas of safety, security, health, comfort, and the environment by developing new products that utilize large-area functionalization technology for applying functional materials in thin, uniform layers, and by promoting collaboration and service development with companies both in Japan and overseas.

Electronics Division
The Electronics Division’s main businesses are digital interface-related businesses such as optical films for displays, for which we boast the world's top market share*, and metal masks used in the production of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, and semiconductor-related businesses, such as photomasks used in the production of semiconductor products, and lead frames, which are components for semiconductor packaging.
In addition to our proprietary large-area functionalization technology, we are developing cutting-edge products for the next generation of the electronics industry utilizing micro- and nano-fabrication technologies that have evolved from the microfabrication technology used to produce “hanko” stamps, and light control technologies that can adjust colors and control the reflection and refraction of light.
