People and Nature Coexist, Creating the
"Future Standards"

A Place Where People and Nature Co-create
The Ichigaya district in Tokyo has been home to DNP since 1886, when our predecessor, Shueisha, established its factory here. For nearly 140 years, we have grown together with the local community.
Ichigaya no Mori (Ichigaya Forest) is a green space created as part of the district’s redevelopment into a core hub for value creation, and it now surrounds our offices like a living embrace. This “new urban forest” was thoughtfully shaped by professionals in urban development, architecture, and landscaping, who explored what “DNP-ness” and “Ichigaya-ness” could mean.
Through the redevelopment, we have brought together diverse functions—including sales, planning, technology, and R&D—to promote “Taiwa (dialogue) and cooperation,” deepen partnerships, and accelerate the creation of new value. Ichigaya is not only a place where our businesses continue to grow—it is also a vital environment where people and nature truly co-create.

A New Urban Forest Born from Human Creativity
The Ichigaya district in Tokyo has been home to DNP since 1886, when our predecessor, Shueisha, established its factory here. For nearly 140 years, we have grown together with the local community.
In this vibrant subcenter of Tokyo, and in pursuit of sustainable and enriching well‑being, DNP is working to create an environment in harmony with nature, while fostering a deep and positive relationship with the community.

Where Diverse People Gather and the Seeds of New Value Begin to Grow
In the Ichigaya district, DNP has created an integrated hub for value creation. Our buildings—named after local neighborhoods such as Ichigaya-Kagacho, Ichigaya-Takajomachi, and Ichigaya-Sanaicho—bring together functions from across DNP, including sales, planning, technology, and R&D, enabling our business divisions to work as one.
With approximately 10,000 employees gathered here, the environment naturally fosters Taiwa (dialogue) and cooperation. By deepening collaboration with external partners as well, we continue create new value together.

Ichigaya no Mori Highlight Map
Located on the border between Shinjuku and Chiyoda wards, Ichigaya is a district where office areas, student neighborhoods, and upscale residential streets coexist. Within this urban landscape, DNP created Ichigaya no Mori (Ichigaya Forest), a corporate green space that has emerged as a new presence in the city.
Today, Ichigaya no Mori is cherished as a place of rest and relaxation for the local community. How did it come into being, and how has it grown over time? Let’s take a look back at its journey.
