Merges three Group companies to strengthen information communication business

DNP Media Create Co., Ltd.: The planning and production of various sales promotion-related tools, mainly paper media such as catalogues and pamphlets.
DNP Digitalcom Co., Ltd.: The configuration of web sites, development of applications and contents, along with the development and operation of large scale systems based on in-house data centers.
DNP AV Co., Ltd.: The planning and production of various video contents.

In addition to mass media, such as newspapers, magazines and TV, consumers can now also make full use of information equipment, such as smartphones and tablet terminals, to take advantage of a variety of services from obtaining information, such as the information transmitted by companies, and feedback from other consumers, to two-way communications. DNP responds to such developments in a hybrid paper-digital format to resolve marketing challenges at companies, and create new values. The Company has promoted business by combining the expertise of each of the three companies, from text and images through video and virtual reality to augmented reality.
In this latest development, and amidst a social environment that is undergoing sharp change, it has been decided to merge the three companies, in order to develop a business with a heightened sense of urgency that combines various media in a cross-sectoral manner. Looking ahead, we will create a system that accurately collects and analyzes information from consumers' point of view, and provides high value added marketing communication measures in a timely manner. DNP will offer services from the planning and production of various media to the configuration and operation of systems in a one-stop fashion. Doing so will make it possible to provide the information demanded by companies and consumers in a safe, secure and effective manner, while aiming to provide even greater value and expand business operations.
