DNP to Exhibit for First Time at Textech Bangladesh 2023

Tokyo, September 8, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) and Group Company DNP Imagingcomm Asia Sdn Bhd. will exhibit for the first time at the 22nd Textech Bangladesh 2023 International Expo. Textech Bangladesh 2023 is an international trade fair for textiles, including woven fabrics and fibers, and will be held in the capital city of Dhaka from September 13 to September 16.
The DNP booth, AT100 will showcase the high-quality products to visitors from all over the world by displaying ink ribbons for thermal transfer printers used for washing label tags and product tags for clothing along with product control tags at manufacturing plants.
At the show, the DNP group will introduce and invite the visitors to experience both the newest solutions for Brand Protection Care Labels and Pocketed RFID Satin Tag solutions with security features, retail traceability and sustainability solution in the textile-garment business segment primarily to authenticate goods, reduce landfill and offer second life for clothes to be recycled.

１．Highly durable ink ribbon that can be printed on fabrics
The resin ribbon1 is suitable for printing on fabrics and maintains resistance to both washing and dry cleaning, while also exhibiting a versatility allowing for use with nylon and satin materials. We have acquired OEKO-TEX standard 100, an accreditation standard ensuring the world's highest level of safety, while also certifying that textile-related materials and products do not contain harmful chemical substances.

２．Anti-counterfeit ink ribbon
An ink ribbon made of Ultra Violet (UV) resin that produces fluorescence when exposed to UV light. As printed information is difficult to see with the naked eye under normal lighting conditions, the ribbon can be used for anti-counterfeit and other security applications.

Tailored-made Polyester, PET labels to be matched with ink ribbons to cater to the fashionwear brand's protection of authenticity goods (counterfeit) and sustainability of apparel eco-system as mono-material to recycling (especially Polyester, PET-based fabrics). It is a thin film label of Polyester, PET with a special adhesive to have an ultimate bond and adhere to fabrics and apparel.
３．RFID embedded tag
Special Pocketed RFID Satin Tag Label Tag embedded with a Radio-Frequency Identification: IC tag (RFID). To enhance and improve the retail and inventory management application.

Textech Bangladesh 2023
Textech Bangladesh 2023, which focuses on textiles, garment machinery and garment technology, is an international exhibition held in Bangladesh, the second largest exporter of apparel products in the world. 2022 saw some 450 exhibitors and approximately 22,000 visitors, both of which continue to grow year by year.
