Updates on Impact of Torrential Rain in July 2018 that Hit Western Japan and Other Regions

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd (DNP) extends its heartfelt sympathy to all those who continue to be affected by the torrential rains and floods that hit western Japan and other areas earlier this month, and our prayers go out to the deceased and their families.

Following up on the July 10 message on our affected production base, as of July 18 production facilities in Hiroshima prefecture that previously suspended operations due to water outages are now coming back online as water supplies are restored.

However, while the DNP Group is resuming operations, it is also true that restoration and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas are still at an early stage. We will cooperate with local governments to provide assistance to the disaster hit areas, including those in the neighborhood of our plants and facilities, and help those who have been affected by recent events. The entire DNP Group will make every effort to contribute to restoration and reconstruction efforts.
