Tokyo, July 27, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) is pleased to announce that the Company has once again been selected as a constituent of all six of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) investment indexes adopted by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF). 

In this latest development, in addition to the FTSE Blossom Japan Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN), and S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index, DNP has also been selected for the Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index newly adopted by GPIF. These are the six indicators GPIF utilizes as a guideline for ESG investments in companies engaged in superior responses to ESG challenges. DNP is the only company in the Japanese printing industry to have been selected for all six indicators.

The Company has also been selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Global Index, a Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) indicator, for the 23rd consecutive year, and of the FTSE Blossom Japan Index for the seventh consecutive year.

• MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes (USA)
• Euronext Vigeo Eiris World 120 Index (Europe)
• Sompo Sustainability Index (Japan)
